Executive Director (Administration & Planning)
The Executive Director (Administration & Planning) provides leadership to service divisions and brings a support-services perspective to strategic discussions.
The portfolio's key roles are to:
- ensure that administration and planning polices, processes and systems are aligned to facilitate the achievement of University objectives
- coordinate the overall budget, resources allocation and planning processes to ensure the optimal use of University resources
- ensure that the University has appropriate infrastructure to support its research, education and community engagement objectives
- develop the strategic direction of Service Divisions and ensure that appropriate plans are in place to support the strategic objectives of the University.
Mr Chris Grange
BA (UNSW), MComm (Wollongong)
Mr Chris Grange was appointed Executive Director (Administration and Planning) at ANU in April 2013.
Mr Grange has had extensive experience in university administration, finance and human resources. He has held his current position since 2005, and has been at the University of Wollongong since 1988. He is highly regarded across the university sector for his strategic approaches to administration
and planning.
Chris holds a Bachelor of Arts (NSW) and Master of Commerce from the University of Wollongong.
